Shipping and Returns


***Under the current circumstances with supply chain and labor shortages, our production times have increased and we must require a minimum order quantity for most items. Almost all orders will require more time to ship than what is described below. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to process shipments as soon as possible. Please contact us for anticipated shipping dates. Expedited shipping is available through UPS for an additional fee. Refunds will not be processed for returns that bring the order quantity below the minimum order quantity.***

Orders usually ship within 1 business day from our facility in New York.  On less popular items, such as color labels we may need 2-3 days to replenish our stock.  If time is crucial please contact us to ensure that the item of interest is in stock. Expedited shipping through UPS is available.  Please refer to the UPS shipping map below for expected delivery times.

Orders of $100 or more are shipped for free via UPS ground to the continental 48 states of the US.  For smaller orders, or orders shipped to Canada, shipping charges will be based on pricing set forth by UPS.  Please contact us for shipping quotes to other international locations.  Additional duties, taxes, and brokerage fees may be assessed by local shipping companies and governments, and these fees are not associated with or collected by Discount Thermal Labels.

Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer’s behalf.

Your order will be shipped under UPS’s e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD$ 200 shipped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD$ 10, plus any applicable duties and taxes. Shipments valued at CAD$200 and above and/or being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur additional fees.

Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.”


We fully stand behind the quality of our products.  In the rare instance that a product is found to be defective each customer has the option of receiving a replacement shipment or a full refund.  In either case the defective labels or ribbons must be sent back to at the address below.  Once the products are received a refund will be issued if requested.

If an item is ordered mistakenly, such as the wrong size, color, material, or printer compatibility it is the customer’s responsibility to return the labels or ribbons to Discount Thermal Labels.  A new order can be placed for the correct items.  Once the incorrect items are received a refund will be given to the original order. Shipping charges will not be refunded. If an order qualified for free shipping, the refund will be reduced by the shipping cost.

Due to shelf life restrictions no order will be refunded or exchanged after 30 days of shipment from Discount Thermal Labels.

Since our labels are not compatible with the new Dymo 550 and 5XL printers, as of May 1, 2023 all orders for Dymo compatible items are final and cannot be exchanged.
